I am not sure what stage our special meeting is n due to prop  296, see
below, I hope that we will not have to elect delegates over the internet, we
might since we have not posted and official meeting notice on the state com
business list,( i am not sure that i am on that list) we should wait to send
a call for nominations until after  the NC prop 296 vote to see if we can
wait at least until a state com meeting to have an election in person

I, myself have to keep my blood pressure down and I must step back fro the
process for  week or 2 as told to me by my medical care giver,

I do encourage Martina Robinson to attend that national convention,

I have also suggested to Elie Yarden that he wade through the process and
take on a larger role, as he has been nominated to be a co-chair for the
national party

Background
Per the policy adopted in Proposal #266, Process for Resolution of
Procedural Objections (adopted, 4/1/07), the Green National Committee is
asked to vote on whether to uphold the Steering Committee's decision to set
an expedited timeline for the vote on Proposal #295 (Delegate Allocation for
GPUS National Committee).

In this case, you are voting FOR or AGAINST the SC decision. A YES vote
means that you agree with the current discussion and vote timeline. A NO
vote means you believe the timeline should not have been expedited.
Proposal
The Green National Committee shall sustain the decision of the Steering
Committee, that the timeline for Proposal #295 be expedited; the discussion
continuing through 6/26/07, and the voting period taking place from 6/27/07
through 7/3/07.
