Greetings,

I don't know why Chuck's letter got sent out yet again, but Chuck and
I have talked since this was written more than two weeks ago. While
Chuck might well not rejoin the committee, he has not completely
written off any participation in the process.

Part of the next meeting needs to give us all the opportunity to make
sure we're on the same page. I realize it could be frustrating to
those who were at the first meeting that those of us attending our
first SPWG meeting (the second meeting) didn't just go with the flow.
I shared Chuck's sense -- valid or not -- that some things had been
pre-determined and further input was marginally welcomed.

I also shared the sense of virtually everyone at last Sunday's SPWG
"hearing" in Worcester that we had enjoyed one of the best GRP
meetings ever. We have good material and vibes to work with and should
be able to build on that.
