[statecom-discuss] An update on the GRP Oct 27th event

Last week I setup a facebook event for our contingent at the Oct 27th
peach march in Boston.  We invited all of the people who are friends
of our facebook user (both Eli and I know how to login, BTW).  This
was about 80 people.  We are now at:

22 yes
17 maybe
49 no (missing out is the actual term :)
138 have not answered

This is more than double what we started with.  Since facebook users
can invite other users, clearly our own members are starting to invite
more people.  Hopefully, this will build upon itself.

I am looking at creating a method that our non-facebook supporters can
use to sign up to attend the event.  Right now, though, I need to
finish cleaning up our database.

I have contacted a GP Maine member who can help with contact info of
other NE GPs.  Thanks to Jim Henderson for the pointer.
