Jamie et al,
I believe Jamie's answer below was the appropriate way to go and am
truly sorry that Solution #2 was withdrawn.
Since solution #2 was not carried out, the only other alternative that
could have been implemented immediately was solution #1, to notify the
McKinney campaign that it could not proceed to use the list. Not
taking that step compounded a mistake instead of solving it.
Please tell the McKinney campaign that their use is one-time only and
that they must delete the data AND any resulting data they mine from
it. The GRP has not endorsed any presidential candidate on our ballot
and it should not appear to have done so by treating the candidates
unequally.
