Hi Luc and Merelice,
Seeing as i have been the person who has validated nomination
signatures we actually haven't been flexible in the past. People
always get signatures on nomination papers, in recent years mostly at
the convention. I think that a nomination signature plus printed
name, city/town live in, on any piece of paper that has the same info
as the nomination form would do. And you can have as many forms as
you need to get your 10 valid ones -- all signatures do not have to
be on one form. And if they are faxed to you that would be ok too
since signatures over fax are legally recognized. So that means you
can email the nomination form to someone, they can sign it and fax it
back to you. That is pretty flexible actually.
And since we have state party status, our convention rules state that
you have to be registered Green-Rainbow to nominate and vote for the
officers (co-chairs, sec and treasurer). Any member can nominate and
vote for directors (fund, member and communicatin').
Peace,
Dan
