To State Committee - this is not part of the virtual meeting, just a general
announcement to you (notice was already sent to the Locals listserv). Thanks
for your prompt attention, Wanda


TO LOCALS, MEMBERS, DELEGATES
 
Even though I¹m well aware that various delegation ideas have been debated
on this list, I imagine we can still support those who hope to change the
disparity, the dirtying, and the destructiveness caused by the plunderers
and predators by going to the Green Party presidential nominating convention
(July 10-13).
 
Whether you work locally, statewide, or nationally - it¹s the same vision
and the same struggle. And one level of active organizing to effect change
is as necessary as another.
 
Whatever your viewpoint, I would urge those who can (including fellow
delegates) to help any delegates who are in need, with money and/or options
for places to stay that you might know about.
 
Help make sure our delegates have a chance to join their fellows from all
over the country as they gather in one place - not in a demonstration of
protest but one of common spirit (albeit divergent passions) to build a
party for the 21st century.

Please do whatever you can, such as:
 
** Make out a check or money order to:  Green-Rainbow Party Federal Fund

** Pay here on the site, become a sustainer if lump sums aren¹t doable

** If you have a local in your area, find out how you can help delegates
from your local.  Maybe you know someone in Chicago who can put a couple of
people up.
