[statecom] I'm not going to the national meeting

Dear Green-Eainboe Party Members

As I am disgusted with the goings on of late I felt it better to withdraw myself as a person who was interested in attending the meeting in Chicago.  Let someone who is less annoyed take my place.  Howevr, if I am sill needed I will be a proxy delegate to the convention and people can call me to ask for my vote while I am in Vermont working with no real issue as to getting in touch with me; just call my cell and I'll either answer or call you back within the hour.  I still have hope for the green party in general, although that hope is quickly being replaced by what I view as a more rational dose of skepticism.  I hope that you will understand and realize I am not leaving either the state committee or the adcom I just feel that my efforts that weekend are better put elsewhere.

PS When my paycheck arrives, I am more than happy to donate $25 to the low income member fund so that people with low incomes can go to Chicago.  I have been helped out by such funds in the past and now that I have a little wealth of my own I think it's time to redistribute.
