Thank you, Jamie

I write in the expectation that, at the ongoing Special State
Committee meeting begun at 3:26 PM on June 16th, 2008, it will now be
possible for all members of the State Committee to act according to
the updated instructions
posted at "http://www.green-rainbow.org/StateCom/meetings/200806special"

I further infer from your e-mail statement, and earlier e-mail
references, that Dan Melnechuck is acting as parliamentarian at this
meeting, and that question of procedure will be referred to him as
needed.

I find this way of moving our agenda quite satisfactory and, again.
thank you as facilitator of the meeting for posting the updated
instructions. I am sure that following the rules will _contribute_ to
developing the needed consensus, as long as all software equally
available to all of us is working properly, and if participants are
fully responsive to questions that may arise.

Accordingly, and because of the limitations of the text transmission
abilities of our e-mail system, it would be useful if we might share
conventions useable in such systems. In this e-mail, e.g., I use
underscore, (_) attached to the beginning and end of a word for
emphasis, where otherwise I might italicize.

The proposal that I have submitted, June 20, 2008 11:32:35 PM EDT,
Subject: Proposal for approval of GRP Delegation to the 2008 National
Nominating Convention with the heading "PROPOSAL" would read more
easily if the the boldface of the headings (e.g. Title, Sponsors,
Background, etc.) and others, could be retained.

To expedite discussion, please note:
1. for the next few days, I will be acting as Manager for the
proposal, will respond to clarifying questions, consulting
other sponsors or members of the CDLC when necessary, and that expect
that another will assume that role sooner or later. It will be
announced.
2. Please, where you refer as follows "This meeting is a required
step in our Delegate Selection Plan. And when we did not meet the time
line to bring a proposed Delegation to the April State Committee
meeting, we needed another way to approve our Delegation. You can find
a copy of the Delegate Selection Plan here." it might be expeditious to
substitute the version referenced in the "PROPOSAL," i.e., "Green-
Rainbow Party Presidential Nominating Convention Delegate Selection
Plan, as amended and approved by the Green-Rainbow Party State
Committee, April 12, 2008." People may wish to refer to it in the
course of discussion.
3. If need be, I will place other documents on file, and will be happy
to send the one just mentioned if you are having difficulty in
locating it. It is the one that was sent to all the campaigns, when
they were instructed concerning our delegate selection process.
