Hi,

For each proposal, fill out the ballot below with one of the following choices:

    * "No concerns",
    * "Yes Concerns but stand aside"
    * "Yes Concerns, Do not stand aside, Concerns are:".

While this may at first seem backwards, you need to have your head in
the consensus frame of mind. In particular, when the facilitator asks
at a normal meeting "are there any remaining concerns?", if everyone
is silent, then the proposal passes because there are no concerns.
Here in email land, we need to note the silence by recording "no
concerns".

Since these proposals are going out during the weekend, please send
your ballots back by noon on Monday, June 23rd. If there are any
concerns on which people do not wish to state aside, then we will
attempt to resolve concerns.

If you have any further questions about process, please first consult:

so see if it answers your question.

Here are the two initial proposals:

o BALLOT: PROPOSAL #1 - Elect twenty two new state committee
members. See the list below with their nominators.

BALLOT: PROPOSAL #1: Seat all 22 members who have asked to join the
State Committee

o BALLOT: PROPOSAL #2 - Clarify the purpose of the meeting:

The purpose of this special online meeting is solely to appoint and
approve delegates to the national convention. This is to be done in
the following manner: If a candidate who has earned delegates supplies
a list of proposed delegates, then state com needs to
approve and accept that list. This is pro forma, provided the list
follows the directions specified in the delegate selection plan. If a
candidate who has earned delegates does not supply a list of proposed
delegates, then state com needs to propose and approve
delegates willing to represent the voters who voted for that
candidate. Finally, State Com also needs to propose and approve
"uncommitted" delegates.

BALLOT: PROPOSAL #2: Limit the purpose of the meeting to approving the
delegate list from presidental candidates, filling any vacancies in
such lists and approving "uncommitted" delegates
