Jamie,

The clear damage this meeting is doing, both to our Party's important work
and to its unity, is eroding our ability to get people to go to Chicago and
is making the Green Party presidential race look more and more like a
counterproductive effort. Stopping this damage far outweighs the
speculative benefit of finding some hitherto unknown person who might want
to go to Chicago at the last minute. We are now two weeks from a convention
that will be held in a city 850 miles away. No delegate has yet been told
that they are appointed. This is creating hardships for attendees, both
financially and in terms of planning for family and work commitments. I
continue to be surprised at how little this concerns you and the others who
are impeding our work. I hope that State Committee will bring this to a
conclusion on Sunday.

- John
