I got a copy of the Minority Report by requesting it. I agree that it
is full of misinformation, is divisive, is harmful to the Party, and
seems designed to mislead people who have not been following the
issues it raises. On the face of it, it looks like a partisan
document intended to damage the campaign of one particular candidate
and to intimidate party volunteer officers who have insisted on
resisting partisan schemes and respecting the votes cast in our
Primary. I don't think the co-chairs should feel obligated to bow to
the demands that it be distributed as if it represented useful
document that has some official blessing. But it should be
forwarded, as the bylaw requires, to the national level (Green Party
US). Further distribution by the co-chairs or committees should be
accompanied by the promised "Majority Report" or whatever explanation
is needed to explain why the committees of the Party have rejected the
arguments contained in the Minority Report.
