This comment begs the question of why Dan and Grace did not respond
when I did raise the question with AdCom some 7 to 8 weeks ago -- at
the same time that I shared Michelle Tassinari's response to AdCom's
questions and soon enough to be presented for approval at the StateCom
meeting.
This comment begs the question of why Dan and Grace did not follow the
same process that I did when I drafted a letter to Tassinari, got
feedback from AdCom, and revised the letter accordingly before sending
it. I would have added at least one more question. In particular, I
wonder why they didn't ask the specific question that Tassinari said
her Office could not provide an opinion on.
This comment begs the question of why Dan thinks that he was doing
this as an officer of the party and not as an aggrieved individual,
since he made no effort to engage either CDLC or AdCom -- the two
bodies designated in the Delegate Selection Plan as carrying out this
aspect of StateCom's approved plan. (And does he say, thereby, that
the other three officers do not take their duty seriously?)
In separate emails, I will give my reponse and that of both co-chairs.
