[statecom] preliminary report on adcom meeting

Hi Members of the State Comm.
My objections to the process are based on the following:
"If they reject the results, the CDLC co-chairs, in consultation with other
CDLC members, will
review the results, make any changes and submit the revised results within
one (1) week of the
>rejection."
The CDLC Chairs refused to call a meeting of the CDLC, despite the fact
that members of the CDLC knew that there
were requests by other CDLC members to have a meeting for the sole reason
that they did not want to listen to
members of the Committee who had a different opinion. Dave England then
sent a proposal to Adcom, which he
labeled as the CDLC proposal.
I once again question the validity of the proposal that came before Adcom.
Since an invalid proposal came before Adcom, maybe the only valid proposal
was the initial CDLC proposal. If we
follow the rules of the process, maybe that was what has been passed.
I admit that I don't know. I'm not a lawyer. Just a concerned member of the
State Comm and CDLC who wants our
party to do the right thing.

Jim, the latter part of that paragraph applies to AdCom REJECTING
the CDLC results. AdCom did not reject them, we failed to approve
or reject them.
I know that trust is low right now, and I can see how quoting only a segment
of the plan might set off alarm bells... but I ask you to read the section
again
and satisfy yourself that the allocation was indeed automatically approved.
Thanks,
Eli
