[WB-Discuss] Meeting Reorg

As the next step, I would suggest that we organize a couple of low-pressure,
social gatherings and just talk about possible small projects for small groups
of us to take on. As one example: in one evening, Wendy and I wrote the
statement that MacK edited the next day and we submitted it to Susan Falkoff for
inclusion as part of the official testimony from community organizations. Doing
one or two of these a month will keep our name out there, and I really do
believe that come the fall presidential campaign, there will probably be more
interest in a Green Party candidacy, especially in a place like Massachusetts.
If we operate as if we are in "survival mode" we will end up nervously trying to
find our mission during every meeting, and we will drive away a lot of people. I
think what the little get-together in the hallway on Wednesday proved was that
we do have enough critical mass to survive and grow. And the fact that few
people showed up for a couple of meetings in a row does not mean anything.
