As you probably know, Pat Robertson called for the assassination of Hugo
Chavez of Venezuela on his CBN 700 Club carried on your station on the
public airwaves. Robertson's call for murder on CBS-TV3 is possibly illegal
and surely immoral. You have by now possibly heard other Christian leaders
denouncing Robertson. This viewer is of the opinion that his show should be
taken off the public airwaves until a sane replacement for Robertson is
found. CBS-TV 3 would do well to take the initiative and do the public the
service of not airing the murderous statements of over-the-top ideologues.
Would you air the speeches of Osama Bin Laden, who also calls for the
assassination of government leaders? I think not.


I request that you temporarily remove the "700 Club" from your programming.
CBS-TV3 will be culpable in any harm that comes to Mr. Chavez.  Such
programming is both dangerous and outragious.  CBS-TV3 should take a stand
against the endorsement of violence.
