Don't miss the bus as the 16th Pastors for Peace Friendshipment Caravan to
Cuba comes to Greenfield. PLEASE JOIN US!

The US embargo of Cuba causes shortages of food, medicine and other
important supplies for eleven million people. The embargo is an immoral
policy that uses hunger and disease as political weapons. This will be the
sixteenth time that Pastors for Peace has organized a Friendshipment
challenge to this attack upon the people of Cuba.

The event on July 6th will feature music, refreshments and speakers
traveling with the Caravan who will talk about the impact of the trade
embargo and the travel ban against Cuba on our lives and theirs. Five local
residents: Liz Kelner, Pam Walker, Paki Wieland, Tom Neilson and his son
Jacob will join the Pastors for Peace Caravan in Greenfield to begin the
journey to Cuba.

Hundreds of volunteers from the US and 7 countries will challenge the
illegal US blockade and travel ban against Cuba at the US-Mexican
border. The Caravan is collecting 200 tons of supplies from communities
all across the country as it traverses 14 separate routes across the US
stopping in all 48-mainland states on its way to Cuba through Mexico.

MATERIAL AID will be collected at the event. Please consider bringing
school supplies, vitamins, medications or powdered milk. For more
information on other kinds of material aid that you can supply, please see
