[WestMALocals] Contribute to the March to Abolish Poverty

Hi Local GRP activists,

Yesterday, I attended a meeting of the "Boston Organizing Committee" of the
March to Abolish Poverty. The Rainbow Caucus and the Boston/Jamaica Plain
chapter have played a leadership role in organizing the Boston end of the
march.

Our state party is supporting the March to Abolish Poverty and I'm confident
that a number of our local chapters and activists are also supporting this
event.  At yesterday's meeting, it was clear that additional funds would be
very helpful.

Two of our members from Boston made a personal contribution of $150/each.

I am the Treasurer of the Boston/Jamaica Plain chapter. I just sent our
members an e-mail message asking permission to make a contribution on behalf
of our local chapter and asking people to make personal contributions.

I hope that our example will inspire your chapters and local activists to also
make contributions.

Contributions can be made on line--   www.green-rainbow.org   OR you can make
out a check-to the Green-Rainbow Party Federal Fund and send it to the Green-
Rainbow Party, PO Box 44-353, Somerville, MA 02144-0004.

BE SURE TO WRITE A NOTE THAT THIS CONTRIBUTION IS FOR OUR MARCH TO ABOLISH
POVERTY.
