Greetings!

I just got off the phone with Pat Keaney, who is going to help
coordinate a ***COMPREHENSIVE*** media training, hopefully involving
members of the press as well. Including the etiquette and timing behind
preparing press releases, press advisories, and the software and
hardware that assists us in doing so.

Together, we will learn the skills necessary to launch quick responses
to an ever changing world and the media challenges that Massachusetts
presents, especially in this election year!

As I'm posting this to the locals, statecom, and comcom, I want as many
people to know about this as possible. The more people that show up,
the more we can have on board and ready to help with the media process.

We're proposing an evening at the Boston Community Church (I know out
of the way for some, but a good location for Pat's press contacts to
likely show up and help out) during the full third week of February
(week of the 19th.) Please post your availability to the ComCom list
(comcom at green-rainbow.org) if you would like to show up. This event
will also serve as a first Media and Communications Committee meeting
for this year.

Check your schedules and if possible keep a couple evenings free (so we
have flexibility in scheduling) during that week and we'll get this on
the calendar.
