[WestMALocals] Hampden County GRP Convention

Hello, folks -

Hampden County residents out there please take note:

The Green-Rainbow Party Hampden County convention (not to be confused with
our party's state-wide nominating convention to be held May 4), shall be
held May 18 at the Springfield Library's central library community room from
12 Noon to 4 pm. At this meeting, Hampden County GRP members (by which we
mean both Green-Rainbow Party registrants and all dues-paying members) shall
elect our two State Committee members allotted this county (one gender
female and the other gender male) plus all alternates as convention
participants may choose.

My hope is that attendees additionally may create the nucleus of a greater
Hampden County party local that would facilitate the creation of town or
city locals and help coordinate efforts on a bio-regional basis. Again: the
date is May 18; the time is from Noon to 4 PM as scheduled.

This is a public event, and all are welcome. I do hope our party members in
the region especially feel inclined to please attend, and I'm certainly
looking forward to meeting you.

Refreshments shall be provided, in that I shall bring coffee, tea, cream and
organic milk with me to the meeting. Given that the Springfield Central
Library does not in fact itself open until exactly noon on the date in
question, credentialing and nominations are likely to be delayed some short
period of time. We hope, however, to have nominations open to the floor by
no later than 12:30 pm.
