"New Orleans Post Katrina: FEMA, EPA and other Dirty Words" With Anne
Rolfes, Founding Director, the Louisiana Bucket Brigades (LABB)
Tuesday, March 7th

Free and open to the public

LABB is an environmental health and justice organization which works with
communities neighboring Louisiana's oil refinieries and chemical plants
along 'Cancer Alley.'
Anne Rolfes was on campus last Spring to talk about the work she and LABB
ordinarily undertake. Her lecture was so well received that this year we
have invited her back to talk about the focus of their work since hurricane
Katrina swept through New Orleans.
Come find out how LABB has worked with the EPA to help citizens understand
and deal with the toxic legacy of Hurricane Katrina. (And about possible
internship opportunities in New Orleans this summer!)
