Greetings,
About six months ago, Liberty Tree contacted the Venezuelan government to
inquire about the possibility of setting up discounted bus fuel arrangements
for various interested US cities. We are still waiting to hear back on the
bus fuel, but we did receive a call today on a related topic: Home heating
oil.
If you serve as an elected official in a city where many homes are kept warm
by heating oil (not gas, etc), or you are a community organizer in such a
community, and you think your municipal government might be in a position to
take advantage of discounted home heating oil for the poor,
please contact me.
In Solidarity - Ben Manski - Manski at LibertyTreeFDR.org
p.s. - The Venezuelan government is chiefly interested in providing heating
oil to the poor; if your community is pretty homogenous and middle or upper
class, chances are they will be less interested.
