WHAT THE H.E.C.?!

Please join the UAW Local 2322 members of Hampshire Educational
Collaborative (HEC) for an informational Rally/March Monday June 5 at 3pm to
support their campaign for a fair contract with fair wages.

UAW and HEC have been in contract negotiations for over a year and HEC has
thus far has not made an offer for defined wages, instead offering a
proposal incorporating "fuzzy" math that does not guarantee annual raises
for the majority of workers.

Our members provide services to some of the most needy, difficult, and
demanding students in the region. Those students come to HEC because
districts they live in can not provide those services.

We will be gathering at HEC Central offices at 97 Hawley St. Northampton
(headed into Northampton on Pleasant St. take a Right on Holyoke St. and a
left onto Hawley St.) at 3pm on Monday June 5 and marching to Pulaski Park
on Main St.

Please join us in supporting the workers who perform the vital services of
teaching students at HEC and keep the school running.
