AGAWAM – The Green-Rainbow Party candidate for State Representative in the
Third Hampden District, Owen R. Broadhurst of Agawam, has accepted
invitations to debate from both the Democratic Town Committee for the Town
of Agawam and Agawam's Chamber of Commerce – and urges many more such
debates in the next few weeks.



"With only but a month left before the general election, two post-primary
debates are simply not enough for voters within our District to get a true
feel for the very real differences between the candidates," Broadhurst
noted. "I thank the Democratic Committee for their commitment to hosting a
debate for the 26th of October, just as I thank the Chamber for hosting a
debate on the 2nd of November. This candidate shall attend both, but I must
urge that even more debates be held. I have urged that we hold no fewer than
eight such debates, and I know that we cannot possibly cover the many
pressing issues in this race with less. I call on all other candidates to
debate."
