our State Legislature, nor does the Public Records Law! The Mass.
Legislature actually exempted itself from the Open Meetings Law as well as
the Public Records Law.
    * Massachusetts is one of only 8 states without those democratic
protections for public access and transparency at the state level. This is
one of the reasons why bills — written by Lobbyists — are routinely rammed
into law without meaningful public review.
