Adding insult to injury, after stealing our water in Western Mass for Boston
with the creation of the Quabin Reservoir in the 1930s, now the state wants
to sell it elsewhere! FIGHT!!


Tuesday September 26
        HEARING ON SELLING QUABBIN WATER
        2pm, Back Meeting Room (1st floor), Haskell Building, Village at
Hospital Hill (former Northampton State Hospital), Route 66/West St,
Northampton. State Sen Stan Rosenberg has scheduled a meeting with the
Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) to explain its recent
proposal to sell more water from the Quabbin and Wachusett Reservoirs to new
communities in eastern Massachusetts. Info: mailto:wscac at rcn.com (WSCAC

programs and actively engages state agencies responsible for setting
environmental policy and regulation).
