ST. PATRICK'S DAY PEACE PARADE
Date: Sun. March 15, 2015. Assemble at 11 AM at D Street and West Broadway, South Boston
Join us as we march in the St. Patrick's Day Peace Parade. For many years, peace, justice and equality groups regularly excluded from the main St. Patrick's Parade have been marching in the St. Patrick's Day Peace Parade that directly follows that main parade, following its route. Last year, more than 1,500 marched in this growing tribute to the principle that all should be included and have a place in our society and that it is peace-- not war-- that is to be cheered and revered. The assembly point can be reached via the South Broadway (sometimes closed) and Andrew T Stations (red line) and there is free parking at the assembly point. Look out for our Green-Rainbow Party banner.
Be sure to RSVP by clicking the "Join" button in the upper right corner on our Facebook event page. Also, invite all of your friends to join our contingent in the parade, by clicking the "Invite" button in the upper right corner of our Facebook event page. https://www.facebook.com/events/1420718318222077
