Cindy Sheehan is a peace and social justice activist who became internationally known after her son Casey was killed in Iraq and she subsequently set up a peace camp outside then president George Bush's vacation home in Crawford Tx. Sheehan is the author of seven books and host and executive producer of Cindy Sheehan's Soapbox podcast. Currently Cindy is lead organizer for the Oct 21st action: Women's March on the Pentagon.

People everywhere are experiencing the growing crisis of climate change. Images of drought, forest fires and melting glaciers are all too familiar. Despite inaction by the US, the world's second largest CO2 emitter, there are hopeful developments in technology, financial investment and political action globally as individuals and nations rise to the call for environmental responsibility.
