The goal of the Action For A Healthy Holyoke coalition is to see that the inevitable retirement of the Mt. Tom coal plant happens in a sustainable way and that the city council is prepared for this retirement with a plan to bring in new economically sustainable business that will not harm the health of Holyoke residents.
