CDLC believes It could be useful to have a committee working on this, but CDLC would not be the appropriate committee.

This proposal after feedback from AdCom and CDLC is form a Group to assist with ballot access of the Green Party Presidential Nominee. The Group would help coordinate on a regional level with the Presidential Campaign Support Committee and Presidential Campaigns.
For example, this could help coordinate efforts to get access New Hampshire and Vermont ballot.
This may help will making helping forming a regional community of Greens.

While I am all in favor of bringing a suit requiring the Secretary of the Commonwealth to reduce the requirements for ballot access to parties have not the finances to meet the current minimum, I am uncertain about what is being proposed, or if this a formal proposal to be considered by the State Committee at this time.

“Today’s decision of the 11th circuit goes a modest distance toward allowing Georgia voters to vote their hopes and not their fears, at least in presidential elections,” said Georgia Green Party CoChair Bruce Dixon of Cobb County. “In the future we hope to force that door open further, and to extend this right to Georgia voters electing members of Congress, the legislature, and constitutional and county offices.” [http://www.georgiagreenparty.org/Ballot_Access/Litigation/2012/GA_Green_Party_Celebrates_Victory_in_Federal_District_Court]
