Date of convention:  Saturday, May 18, 2019

Location: First Unitarian Church, 90 Main St, Worcester, MA

The convention planning committee held first telecon meeting on January 16, 2019.  Next meeting is scheduled for January 23, 2019. Future meetings will take place on:

February 6, 20

March 6, 20

April 3, 17

The committee will decide on April 17 if they should meet weekly.

The committee discussed themes for the convention and will continue discussion at January 23 meeting.  Climate change solutions will be a focus. Jill Stein will speak at the convention.  

Gordon Davis requests 30 minutes to address funding for public schools follow-up to 2018 convention vote to support this effort.

A deadline to submit proposals to the convention committee to allow sufficient time for vetting and posting to website was discussed.
