Responsibilities

The Convention Planning Committee helps to:

• Organize the Green-Rainbow Party's annual state convention, including setting a date, securing a venue, planning the day's theme and program, and preparing logistics such as food, entertainment, childcare, transportation, tabling, web site, registration, credentialing, elections, volunteer coordination, and more.
• Communicate timely information about the convention to local chapters and to as many GRP members as possible
• Reach out to issue organizations and the broader public in order to increase participation in the convention and in the party

The GRP State Convention is the broadest, and thus highest, decision-making body of the party, and it's where party officers are elected.
