    2. David - The appropriate response is to reach out to all, including those no longer part of the party, and seek discussion of how to move forward as Greens. I am suggesting the previous sentence as a proposal for a possible vote on Saturday
    3. David - I’m going to add the following proposed amendments to the proposed bylaws revision on Chapters: These changes are needed in my opinion to reverse the tendency toward dividing the party by suppressing dissent.
      1. Amend 7.3.1 (Chapter Responsibilities), changing “Not undermine” to “Accept”, to read, “Accept the Platform and Purpose of the Green-Rainbow Party as stated in these bylaws.”
      2. Add to 7.3: “8. Operate democratically, respecting majority rule and the right of dissent.”
      3. Add to 7.5.1 (Chapter Decertification): “Chapters may not be decertified for dissenting from points of the platform, disagreeing with decisions by bodies of the GRP, or allowing internal dissent.”
