The 2024 Green-Rainbow Party (GRP) Regional Convention for Southeastern Massachusetts (Regions 1, 2, and 4) will be held virtually, via Zoom video conference, on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, from 3 to 5 p.m.

All GRP members and supporters are welcome to attend our regional convention, and we especially welcome new members.

Any GRP member is entitled to run for State Committee as a member or alternate. The term for a GRP State Committee Member is four years.

As a GRP State Committee Member, one is required to attend most of the GRP State Committee meetings, which take place on Zoom four times per year. They also must take part in a GRP Working Committee (if not already a member of a GRP or GPUS working committee, a co-chair of a GRP chapter, a candidate for office, an officer of the GRP, or elected to political office in Massachusetts). To be eligible to run for the GRP State Committee, one must be either:

• Registered to Vote in MA under the political designation Green-Rainbow (J)
• Registered to Vote in MA as unenrolled, and be a dues paying member of the GRP

To run for our Green-Rainbow State Committee, please submit short statements describing yourself and your history with the party to the chapter secretary. If you decide at the convention you'd like to run, that will also be allowed, through nominations by yourself or others) at the convention. Ranked choice voting will be used, and ballots will be tabulated after the convention, with the results sent to the chapter secretary, party secretary, and attendees.
