On June 27, Fall River hosted its Second Annual Pride Festival, organized by the Fall River Pride Committee and its co-Chair, GRP StateCom member Sean Connell.  Mayor Paul Coogan welcomed the LBGTQ community and its friends.  Excellent weather aided the lively dancers, drag queens, singers in colorful costumes, and the well-stocked food trucks.

The SouthCoast Green-Rainbow Chapter was one of 32 tabling organizations.  The Greens shared friendly greetings with passersby while collecting signatures for banning plastic shopping bags in the city.

The festival’s theme, “Love is Love” was beautifully illustrated throughout the afternoon.
