Hey Greens: We Made It On the Ballot!!

Gloria Caballero Roca and Juan Sanchez, together with their intrepid team of signature gatherers supplied the Secretary of the Commonwealth with sufficient petition signatures to get them on this year’s ballot. More Good Ballot News!

Democrats in North Carolina don't take kindly to opposition from Greens, it appears.  The State Board of Elections, which is controlled by Democrats, refused to give the Green Party a spot on the ballot, citing possible fraud in their ballot petition.  A federal judge ordered the Board to make room on this year's midterm ballots for the Green Party's candidate Matthew Hoh, for the US Senate.

Annual State Convention October First, 11: a.m. to 3 p.m. Present Problems and Future Solutions Green-Rainbow Party and Coalition Building  An old proverb states: "If you do not change direction, you are likely to end up where you are headed". At such a critical time of uncertainty, like-minded people, rooted in values of Peace and Justice must join together to change that direction.  At our annual meeting, the Green-Rainbow Party will develop strategies to lead the way. Is the NRC allowing for a "planned Fukushima" in Cape Cod Bay?

Since the Massachusetts legislature ended its session without opposing the planned discharge of "over a million gallons of radioactive water into Cape Cod Bay"  from the closed Pilgrim nuclear power plant and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission stands ready to approve the discharge, who can stop this heinous act?
